THE creative mad hatter

Creative Brand Director | Technologist | Cultural Alchemist

My journey began three days after my birth, when meningitis cast a shadow—doctors predicted death or a diminished life. My parents saw beyond, nurturing me with a saxophone for expression, an IBM 386 for exploration, and Saturday Highs at ArtCenter for dreaming. By twelve, I hacked AOL chatrooms, a curiosity redirected by a mentor to build something real, setting my path.

I launched my career at Sony Electronics as a Product Specialist, animating AIBO AI robots and creating Blu-ray Easter eggs—like in Pixar’s Cars, where viewers pressed red-green-blue-yellow to select on-screen cars, earning points as the story played. This led to The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, where I joined Worldwide Technical Services and Disney Character Voices International, refining my craft. With Barry Godwin’s support, Disney funded my ArtCenter advertising studies—a stable role I chose to leave for new horizons.

I cold-emailed Alex Bogusky at Crispin Porter + Bogusky: degree or job? He said, “Send work.” Two weeks later, I traded my Disney salary for $7.28 an hour and a flight to Boulder. After three months interning among thirty, he hired me as Creative Mad Hatter, leading the agency’s first Creative Technologist role in Emerging Technologies. I pioneered AR campaigns and social app innovations until his departure shifted my course. I moved on.

Next, Marc DeGrandpre, a Red Bull mentor, became IMAX’s first CMO, launching their brand marketing. He sent me to Shanghai to craft IMAX China’s digital strategy, then to New York to turn theaters into cultural hubs. Later, I served as Creative Director at Tribal DDB in Manila for a year before embracing startups.

Today, I thrive in consumer products, themed entertainment, and tech. I co-founded NXOS, patenting the Quantum Fingerprint TAG for AI authenticity. At nvtive, I’ve curated $45M+ in collectibles with FriendsWithYou, Diplo, and Superplastic. Maison Krew blends luxury sportswear with court culture. Fluent in Tagalog and English, with Chinese, Japanese, and Hebrew, I weave diverse narratives. I mentor USC Marshall students, echoing the advice: don’t waste time.

My mission is to transform fragile ideas into lasting legacies, from award-winning campaigns to global brand worlds, drawing on 15+ years of immersive storytelling and cultural foresight. If your vision feels bold, let’s create it.
